How the civil war was started
The civil war officially begun when seven southern starts succeeded from the union and bombarded Fort Sumter beginning hostilities between the states. but unofficially the war had been going on for months in new states such as the new Kansas territory disputes regarding if it was to be a slave state or not gave birth to conflicts that were given the name bleeding Kansas in witch about 55 people died and the city of Lawrence burned.
